The Honest Investment Guide

Bathroom Remodeling Pricing in Toledo, OH

Real ranges, every cost driver, and who shouldn't hire us — published, because you shouldn't need a sales visit to learn a ballpark.

Most contractors make you sit through a sales visit to learn a ballpark. We'd rather you walk into your estimate already knowing the honest numbers. Most bathroom projects we build land between $8,000 and $18,000, and a typical project comes in around $12,000.

The three tiers, honestly

TierTypical rangeWhat it covers
The Refresh — wet area onlyBelow the low end of our rangeAcrylic walls over new moisture-proof backing, new valve and fixtures — the room's footprint and everything outside the shower stays
The Standard — tub-to-shower conversion$8,000 – $13,000Full tear-out, moisture-proof backing, low-threshold base, acrylic wall system, fixtures, glass or curtain
The Custom — full-bathroom scope$13,000 – $18,000+The conversion plus flooring, vanity, storage, paint, drywall, and any accessibility features — the whole room finishes at once

What moves your number UP

  • Larger footprint or full-bathroom scope
  • Moving plumbing — relocating the drain or the valve wall
  • Barrier-free / roll-in entries (the floor structure is rebuilt to slope to the drain)
  • Premium acrylic patterns — marble-look and stone-look cost more than standard
  • Custom vanities and built-in storage
  • Hidden moisture or framing repairs — found in a meaningful share of older homes; always shown to you, photographed, and priced in writing before we continue

What keeps your number DOWN

  • Keeping the existing footprint — the standard 60" alcove converts cleanly
  • Wet-area-only scope now; floor and vanity phased later (we'll plan the phases so nothing is torn up twice)
  • Reusing fixtures that are genuinely sound
  • Standard acrylic patterns

What's included in every quote — and what isn't

  • Included: tear-out and haul-away, moisture-proof backing on every wet wall, all listed materials and labor, daily cleanup, final walkthrough
  • Included: a written hidden-damage protocol — if we open a wall and find rot, you get photos and a written price before work continues
  • Not included: repairs we can't see yet (priced only if found, in writing), work outside the bathroom, and anything you didn't approve in writing — there are no invoice surprises here

Who should NOT buy on budget

If your home is older, if anyone in the house has mobility concerns, or if you plan to stay ten-plus years — do not choose a bathroom by lowest bid. The cheap quote is cheap because of what's missing behind the walls, and behind-the-wall failures cost more to fix than the whole job cost to do right. If budget is tight, shrink the scope, not the standard: a properly built wet area beats a whole room done thin.

Why does our price include days of work a 'bath-in-a-day' brand skips? Because tear-out, inspection, and moisture-proof backing are the job. The panels are just the part you see.
